Mistake That Raila did While Announcing the Rejection of the Results Elicit Reactions.

The Orange Democratic Party leader hon Raila Amollo Odinga has objected to the presidential results that declared the outgoing deputy President hon William Ruto as the president-elect of the republic of Kenya
The Azimio la Umoja presidential said that the results are null and void and do not reflect the true will of the people and termed it as a threat to democracy.

"The figures announced by Mr. Chebukati are null and void and must be quashed by a court of law. In our view, there is neither a legally and validly declared winner nor the president-elect." Odinga said

However, legal experts and many Kenyans who have reacted to the matter have corrected hon Raila Amollo Odinga's move to declare the results that Chebukati announced as null and void.

This is because it is the role of the Supreme Court of Kenya to declare an election or results as null and void and this happens when the court has sufficient evidence that the due process was not followed or there was malpractice.
